Meet The Leaders

Here are the guys running the show, along with a little bit of info on them!

Phil Lewis

Phil has been the pastor of the church since 2003, and is therefore more than used to dealing with a rowdy group of people. In a diary full of things to do for the church, youth work fills in a lot of the blanks.

Jackie Lewis

Jackie is Phil’s wife, so she has a lot on her plate, yet somehow finds time to help run and organise some of the games for Genesis. Some say she’s a tad competitive…others say she cheats.

Hannah Lewis

Normally found in bed, or flying around Talbot Green in Leona (the car), no one really knows for sure, but she claims to be a student in Swansea Uni! she’s also a key figure in the church’s worship team.

Bethan Williams

Bethan is the sensible one, who will organise teams and get people into cars for the trips. However,  for someone so organised, she still hasn’t mastered the art of hand eye coordination! For this reason, you will often see her standing above a puddle of spilt drink…crying.

Mike Williams

Often found setting up the media/sound, and generally doing whatever Beth tells him to, like a good little husband! In other words…he’s whipped. Occasionally he tries to make a stand but ends up embarrassing himself and everyone else involved.

Dan Hallett

The really clever one that can solve maths questions in a flash, however with great intelligence comes a great lack of common sense! Many legendary quotes originate from Dan’s  mouth. e.g. “That old man looks a bit frisky” (He meant frail), or “I didn’t know Celine Dion was that famous!” (When watching ‘An Audience with…” and seeing cast members from Corrie) or “I didn’t know vampires could dance!?!” (When watching Twilight)

Michael Woodington

What can I say? You’ll spot him easily. He’s the the tallest in the room! He’ll pretty much do anything for a laugh. His dancing and singing are world renowned…for being…uh….awful. No-one can deny his commitment when he’s singing Enrique. (‘Hero’ in particular, see photos to find out more)
